More Soul Trade Concept art... I swear, I'm really getting attached to this thing. If it doesn't become a movie, I'm gonna cry. Bahahahaha.

Just kidding. But seriously, I like this idea enough to keep thinking about it.

I was working on their costumes today during class, cuz I wanted to settle the images in my head before they became too complex.Trevor's costume... wanted him to seem like a pretty boring guy, I guess, who isn't used to change. Even when he's wearing his slave wear, he's trying to make it as close to how he usually is as possible. I drew these to also show things like hairdos and their basic moods in the story... Trevor's a cranky butt, as you can see. Not very smiley.

Here's Diane. Her normal clothes, I wanted her to dress pretty normally, but also add in some things like the ballet shoes to show her interests. She's pretty laid back, but doesn't like to think that she has a responsibility on her hands. She has bad experiences with being depended on. Based gratuitously on my friend Amry. I should stop that. *laughs*

Here's Dante-head. In his Pre-slave years, I wanted to give him this sort of "I'm capable and I love my job" look to him, but also give a twinge of his attitude through his expression (cuz he's still kind of a jerk in those times too). Though, the change is so obvious after the fifty years at the Holding House. Made his back stoop more and wanted to make him look like he didn't care about anything anymore, including his personal hygiene (i.e. greasy hair). I shoulda drawn food stains on the front of his shirt too. Gahahaha. The earring was just cuz I thought it looked cool and people who don't care get them. Bahaha.
Good Old Musician, who has taken up role of Noble man. Very smiley, as always. I wanted his clothes to look simple, but refined, except for his shoes, which i wanted to contrast with the rest of his clothes. Not only to show that Musician doesn't give a crap about appearances, but also sort of symbolize Musician's remembrance of the past, even though the rest of his clothes have shown that he has clearly moved on in his life. His Abolitionist clothing is simply just a slaves clothes with a few things thrown on top to hide his identity and to make him look sinister. *laughs* He's not very good at that.Lastly, the actual Slave Trader, Stephen Bleu. Not really a clothes design, more an attempt at figuring how the character would stand or act, as well as getting more of his actual design down. Out of all the character's Stephen's giving me a hard time. It's like, I have an image in my head that I can't get down. In the end, I'm prolly gonna have to change the design entirely and opt for an easier/simpler representation. Oh well.

And that's all for now! I'll try and do some baruka stuff or sommat. *laughs*

Baruka, Cale Windstar, and Soul Trade

YEAH, more pictures.

You have no idea how much I draw. Srsly. ANYWAY, yeah, more concepts up because I'm full of them.

I'll start with Soul Trade because that's basically most of what I've been showing anyway.
Okay... Brobdignick and Jerry (who I failed miserably at this time around... it's like, I drew how I wanted him the first time and then after that it's like... No. Not anymore. *laughs*). Musician and Marika, cheek smooch, I guess... and the guy in the left hand corner is Stephen Bleu, one of the antagonists.
Some stuff of 'Nick, and even more of Trevor, the main character. These are earlier pictures, so the kid looks a little different, but primarily the same. In his normal clothes, and me trying to make a uniform for him... ended up too much like a janitor, so I gave up. *laughs*
Diane, trying to flesh her out a bit more. Also in her dancing outfit. ANd over there is Mr. Trevor again, with a new face shape. I kinda like it. And I'm really starting to like this version of Diane... the earlier one was so boring and generic.

AND NEXT UP are sketches for another story idea I had based off of an old filipino folk tale I heard when I was a kid. Bunch of stuff about a child eater who lives up in the mountain. gahahaha I love it.
Me trying to figure out stuff. YEAH, I know, stiff poses and Anna Maria looks like one of those creepy dolls. I'm not even going to use that last name anymore, because apparently, there aren't that many Cabucos in the Philippines and I don't wanna get in trouble with any of them. *laughs* But anyway, Pedro's based off of my bro, and Paulo's based on my cousin.
aaaaaand... yeah, this is shitey. Gahahaha. Earlier concept for Baruka on the left, I have her better figured out but I'll show that some other day. Paulo in the middle, and a semi-storyboard for Pedro home alone.

And the last thing today is from the comic I been wanting to make, Cale Windstar...Ugolin de la Ferme, the hopeless ex-gangboss. And... the face in the upper right, I have no idea.

That's it for today. More tomorrow maybe. Later days!

More concepts and some pen and inks

Okay, dude, some more stuff. I did a lot of drawing and shite. *laughs*

OKAY, first up are some pen and inks I did for a friend... Illustrating a story. The only thing I wanna say is that the soldiers' designs belong to the Incredibles, because I couldn't think of anything. I disclaim it to them. Yup. Oh, and also that I KNOW the quality's not that good. Step a sock in it. Thanks! *laughs* The Heroine going on vacation.

The antagonists's minions tracking the Heroine. I'm not giving away story here. Gahaha.
The minions apprehending said heroine. Yup. That's all I'm showing for now. YAY!

The next bits are for that movie idea I had...Sketched most of it today during chem class cuz seriously, there really isn't anything better to do there. Mr. Tanner's gonna kill me, though.

More Dante stuff, basically because he's fun to draw. The sketches on this page really aren't that good, but still. *laughs* Imma tweak them later.

Concepts on the supporting female role of the idea, Diane. She actually looked WAAAAAAAY different yesterday. *laughs* But, while I was in my art class, I noticed a classmate Amry walking around the room. She has this really interesting shape, like an extreme pear shape, almost the type you see on moms. And she's only seventeen and also a ballet dancer, which I found interesting. So that's what I did with the character.
AAAAAAAAAANd I'm not going to tell you what this is. It's just something I was playing around with and if you knew what it was you'd laugh at me. SHUT UP. I'll hurt you. Gahahahah

ANYWAY, yeah, that's it for now. I will probably have gobs more later. *laughs*

Later days!

FIRST POSTAGE and stuff

Hellz yeah, I got a blog now. *laughs*

Okay, yeah, I've got all these ideas zooming around in my head for shorts and stuff, and I spend most of my time drawing stuff for them, that I decided that I should have a place to post stuff and talk about life. Gahaha. Mainly art stuff though, cuz I'm boring like that.

Um... Well, since I'm going to post stuff here, I might as well put SOMETHING up..

For a story idea I have. From a few weeks ago; I've tweaked the design a bit since then.

Dante from a story idea I have going on... I KNOW, the PICTURE SUCKS. SHUT UP. It was a while ago. Gahahaha

Last one... I like this sheet, though again, from a few weeks ago... Musician and his wife Marika

I hate my drawings from a few weeks ago. Gahaha, but they're not gouge the eyes out kind of stuff, and I like Musician still.

ANYWAY, yeah, I'm going to posting a lot of original art and concepts up here. Just cuz. And the only thing devART is really only good for is fanart imo. But I'm done like that.

UP UP AND AWAY
